Nickster Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Has anyone every bought any apparel off http://www.aliexpress.com ? Wouldn't consider bibs but with jerseys at 1/5th of the price its worth taking a chance I think. Does anyone have any experience with this site?

Im usually a medium in shorts and shirts, but ordered a large set, the bibs fits perfectly but the shirts are big, so my point is, take the shirt in your normal size but the bib one size bigger. The bibs are rubbish, feels like they fitted a continental pillow to it, not cumfy at all :-D Just be aware of the 42% import tax on clothing, they klap you with that Edited July 20, 2014 by BrandonF mrbaker 1
BarHugger Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Haven't bought clothing, but other stuff......GPS-HR watch, action video camera, etc. Shop around on site and look for free delivery, order item, select DHL delivery, pay DHL fees and minimal import tax......and wait for item to be delivered at your doorstep......click-click that simple. Aliexpress holds your payment until you confirm receipt and satisfaction with product. If deal goes sour you will get your money back......only happened once. Lekker shop.

If through the SA postal services, you pay at the counter where you collect...... ......that is how my orders have worked out......but then again there might be some other regulations applicable to clothing......

Quality is top range, excellent shammie and sizing seems standard. Just remember customs is 45% on clothing and then 14% Vat. Even with that, its still cheaper than buyng locally.
