tubeless tyre conversion

Hey guys

Has anyone tried the diy tubeless conversion or do I need to get tubeless tyres as well.

What sealants did you use ?

I see slime has a kit for R800 comes with sealant , rim tape, 2 presta valves, 2 co2 catridges and a co2 regulator

I used a kit but if i had to do it again I would rather buy rim tape and sealant separately. It would work out alot cheaper

Gorilla Tape, 2 Valves, Bottle stans, 30 minutes...

That's a very good deal, worth it. I swear by the Joe's kit for non tubeless rims, depending on your tyres you could convert. I've converted non tubeless Racing Ralphs that are by all accounts holier than a pack of nuns without one issue. The advantages are nice so my advice would be go for it.
