Beginner MTB

'n vriend van my wil graag begin met MTB. Hy begroot tussen R7500 - R10 000.

 

Enige raad sal welkom wees, aangesien ek nog nie in die prysklas gekoop het nie.

IMO if he's a beginner he should go towards a trail bike in the second hand market, or something that can handle a lot and give him some confidence.

All depends on his size, but I would steer him towards something that will improve his riding and give him more confidence - the slightly slacker head angle and longer travel of the Commencal, Merida and the Yeti will give him that, and be able to be ridden all day every day.
