Some thing they do at the end of October and everyone wants to be vampires and/or mummies so they put in sharp teeth and go run around with their arms held up unfront of them (hell knows how they can do that for all that distance and not actually kill themselfs (again))

G00SE Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 As long as the track sees continuous maintenance there should be nothing to worry about, I used to spend many a weekend helping maintain the Kempton Park BMX track back in the day. This shouldn't be an upgrade and leave it until next year kind of thing. The park is also marshaling the pump and bmx track now. So hopefully the amount of kids riding the wrong way will be lessened if they just keep reinforcing the rules.. Maintenance - This is the only solution.Kids will be kids, and adults who cant jump still get a thrill from coasting over the jumps. Cyclelab, you've done a great job so far revamping the place, but please keep up the maintenance of these areas, the tables on the BMX track are the best jumps around for learning on, and if they go to $h!t because they aren't maintained, the park will loose most of its appeal for me and my budding young dirt jumper of a son.

We are increasing the maintenance of the BMX track.The rain the last few days also makes it easier to sculpt and repair damage.Through our weekend track marshalling are attempting to keep the younger fans off the advanced / big jump line. This will also limit damage to the jumps and help with our maintenance.Glad you like the initial revamp so far.
CycleLab Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Hey Fans, We are Super Stoked to announce that our landscaping project will commence from Monday 17th November with the new signage upgrade following closely behind.It will take a few weeks to finish all the awesome changes and additions.We know any inconvenience is going to be worth the end result and apologise forthe inconvenience. The riding areas will still be open during all the work. So you can still hit the trails, BMX track, Pump Track and skill areas. Ps. We open every Thursday till 9PM. Bring your lights and hit the trails or ride our floodlit pump track. Food on sale, Braai facilities available, so bring your friends and family.

We are staying open every Thursday until 9PM for you to ride the trails or play on the floodlit pump track.We will be doing this until Thursday 18th December and will resume again from Thursday 8th January 2015. There are braai areas available, briquettes, firelighters and Ice on sale so bring your friends,food and drinks and make it your weekly family and friends social evening. Hope to see you and all your friends this week Thursday.

Late registration from 18H00. Apologies for the inconvenience. Night riding will resume again from next week Thursday.
