Just watched the highlights... Huge respect for Sagan after that ride last night.

There is time bonuses on the final line tonight so Etixx ride as normal so cavendish can take them away from Sagan and possibly even get cavs lead out men to try hold on in front of Sagan as well

I think he needs to finish 3rd on the finish on line to win the GC. and there's also an intermediate sprint during the stage.. will be interesting to see what etixx will do today. Thankfully coverage starts at 7pm.. so I won't be a zombie tomorrow.

I thought he was going to throw up. . When he lay down he quickly got up again to go hang over the barriers.. amazing effort, real grit and determination. . I hope those critics out there actually appreciate what he did.. also he will be very handy for beefie bert come tdf time.. one more rider that can work on the flats, hills and mtns..

Almost time for live coverage, supper ..check, kids bathed.. checking.. my timing has been real good today.

Wow, the bike throw was so close - Sagan threw it just in time and got the third-placed time bonus to win the overall!

Ladies and gents.. I have never watched such a hectic stage before. . Sagan was hit from all sides.. and it came to a foto finish. . A zebra nearly spoilt it all.. but Sagan got 3e and wins the tour.post-39623-1431887896,6448.jpeg

Phew!

The emotions in my house were mad.. I was jumping up and down during the sprint. . Then we all held our breaths and when etixx started celebrating we all hung our heads.. then I heard the crowd and once it was confirmed by the wheelie we all went bos.
