Hi Meentb,

I can't seem to replicate this on iPad. But looking at the screenshot and others comments I don't think it's limited to iPad.

If you scroll down to the ads appear much further down the page?

Thanks,

Matt

One other issue, posting videos .

I've split this into a separate topic so we can address it properly.

Are links still not converting to embedded videos?

If possible could you provide an example video url? Youtube has a variety of url formats and additional parameters which have been causing issues.

I've updated the code to detect these correctly as I've seen issues in the forums, but haven't covered all options.

I have been able to upload videos the way patches suggested, it works well but is a real schlepp from what we used to do.

I used to just click "link" paste the url and the video would show.

I just posted that Pink Floyd video as per usual, did you change something ?

Yep - all sorted. I originally thought it was the link variations, but turns out they "fixed" a so called bug in the forum software where you weren't able to post a link to a youtube vid if you wanted to just link to it (any link would auto embed).

But I think the default auto embed is far simpler as you say.
