The Hub is often used to flame suppliers of bad service but here is a note on the incredible service from Omnico on my GoPro.

 

Basically I needed a new lens for the casing for my Hero 2 which is discontinued and I couldn't find spares anywhere. Called Omnico, spoke to Shaheema, and she confirmed that they also did not have any replacement lenses but did have a complete case for the Hero 2. So I think, this is going to cost me upwards of R600 to replace, but no she couriered the replacement case to me in 2 days at no charge. Well done Omnico, you have one happy camper right here! :clap:  :clap:

+1.  Had a problem with my Giro Aeon helmet.  Satin finish went gunky and they replaced.  No questions.

Sadly i can't say the same - when i saw this thread last week I wanted to jump in immediately but decided to hold off and see how my problem pans out first.......

 

3 weeks ago the rear hub on my EA70 wheel broke (it's done less than 1000km) and got shipped to Omnico in CPT. Since then I have had to continuously chase them for updates as to what is going on. Last Friday i got hold of their Sales Rep for Jozi who informed me that the hub was repaired but shipped in error to a bike shop in PE instead of Jozi.

 

I am hoping to receive it back today but have no confidence in them that it actually will be delivered today. At this stage no one can tell me:

 

1. What was wrong

2. What caused it

3. What was done to rectify this

4. Or if this will even happen again

 

Very disappointed in them as all i have heard from others is good reviews

The fact that OMNICO is now the official stockist of CRANKBROTHERS is worth a KUDO to them for sure!!

 

No more courier costs from Joburg is a massive bonus!!
