Yes he is too sensitive to be in a business like this, in fact any business. It is not your problem he could not help you out, you fixed your problem by getting what you wanted, his loss of business and if it was me loss of a client and surely everyone else reading this. You are too nice, name and shame cause no one deserves to be kicked out of a shop because the owner is upset about finding you in another shop, what was he doing there in any case, that is unprofessional and disgusting!! I would stick to the LBS that helped you out in the end and send a RAVE about them!!

Stopped at other riders and the guy was explaining to one of the girls the size of the cobra that was on her left hand side while she was looking the other way, luckily his speed and noise scared the snake off!!! Don't worry about the hard saddle, get yourself decent MTB riding shorts as that shammy inside will help for sure. I ride with a hard saddle which is better and lighter and for mountain riding with single tracks, switch backs etc it's better as the saddle is "smaller" and makes the on / off easier. Look at getting First Ascent or Fox shorts, their shammy's last long!! Oh, and off course, Don't by the makro special, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys! Welcome to the world of MTB !!

Went there last night for a quick ride around the normal track, no Epic lanes open only the pump track and i did not go up to the top due to sunset creeping in. The place is still very ridable and in my opinion still perfect for mountain biking, so what if the grass is long and trails now more "bumpy", i loved it. Yes it is a pitty that TygerbergMTB is not nursing the trails anymore but if they (Meerendal) can keep it the way it is now then that is perfect training grounds for novice and experienced riders. Still plenty options for different "skills" One added bonus will be if they can re-open the Epic lanes as that would be round it off nicely.

Any MTB events part of this ? I saw something somewhere about an obstacle race in the city as well, this is where the MTB and BMX should fit in ? I'm keen to enter, but only if MTB is part of it. Don't have no road bike!!

Just fitted Conti Xking Tubeless on my 29er, will test it this weekend at Appleblossom Grabouw. Surely after 50 km i should know how good they are!!

The MEERENDAL owner is currently busy with EPIC-SNOW training in the ALPS, so doubt he will be coming down anytime soon. Contermans will see me more that's for sure!!
