XT Shifter "hoods"

Hey guys, so got a new right hand shimano XY shifter...It came with a gear indicator (puke) and I want to remove it.

So I took off the two little screws and the indicator expecting a cover plate to be present, only to find they don't ship with covers anymore to cover the hole.

 

So my question is does anyone know where to source these? And before the ghetto suggestions are made, yes I know I can use insulation tape/etc, but I don't really want to.

But not particularly keen to get em from overseas as am sure one can get them in RSA and I only need the right hand side

all that because you dont want to see a gear indicator? will your street cred go down by having that?

lol...it interferes with my brake lever so i cannot have it in exactly the spot i want. and it is completely pointles...

I scrounged around and found a set in the UK a year or two ago.

Shimano SA didn't have any in stock (surprisingly)
