It's a 140/130 or 150/140mm trail bike with decent tyres and aluminimum frame. If it comes in UNDER 16kg you are 100% winning It's NOT a XCO/M race bike with poopoo geo and componentry for the average rider, nor does it have bespoke lightweight componentry (what can you expect given the nice low price point). More ppl in RSA need to be riding bikes of the 130.140 rear travel and whining less about how "technical' that trail is on their race bike designed for the actual elite riders who can handle them.

Post a pic. How bad would you say they are? Are they vertical or horizontal? Can you feel it with your fingernail or with the skin on your ... finger? Generall, mild scratches are no issue at all other than cosmetic. If they have a ridge you can take some 800 or 1000 or 1200 or higher wet/dry sandpaper and carefully wet sand the immediate area to remove any burr which may interfere wiht the dust wiper seals. Then firget the are there. If they are deep...there are many ways to skin that cat, ranging from filling the scratch with nailvarnish and repeating above wet sanding, to simply replacing the whole stanchion. You'll not be able to re-anodize them though. Kashima is overrated ITO performance (and looks IMO...even though I have it myself), so don't fear that a replacement stanchion is an "inferior product". Boys at Stoke in CT and RBC in Gqeberha are the two I know who could replace for ya.

Protein may be the exception to the "healthy" diet for particularly active people or people trying to retain and/or build additional muscle mass. It's pretty difficult, physically and financially, to get sufficient protein intake for these purposes without supplimentation.... Almost everythign else is more than easy to get from your more balanced diet

Yep it tastes significantly better than Nutritech for example. Those numbers are all normalised to 100g. So it's actually not significantly higher than the median of others (yes, I should do a statistical test to technically say significant). And the overall protein content doesn't count (for me)...what counts is the cost of the protein per gram...Then adjust your does to get your desired protein intake/serving.

Of the locally available I have tried, the PSN tastes the best...and waddaya know...It's also the cheapest per gram of protein compared to many others... Just check...those prices include your (well, at least mine do) your discount from your Multiply status (which is applieed outside of BF as well). So the "real" discount is significantly less than is advertised and wont be available to non-Momentum peeps.

Currently R900 excl.VAT (so call it R950 when your cc is charged). Add VAT to that +1% "pfaff factor" = R1100. Add R300 for 4 day EXPRESS shipping and you're looking at R1400 landed cost for these. Throw in a service kit too and you will have them faster than buying online in RSA and a lot cheaper than many other pedals too. IMO i would pay the additional amount over the R900 Giant ones and would 100% pay R500 less than the more pricey Giant pedals on that list for these...

FWIT...the Shimano Saint are horrendous in comparison to most options here. So far I have used... DMR V8, Vault and V12 Shi7mano Saint Spank Oozy Trail C(w)ank Brothers Stamp Nukeproof Horizon Sam Hill As it stands, the Nukeproof are by some large margin better than the others in terms of grip, ease of "finding" the pedal as well as service kits (yes, even though both come from CRC). They are also substantially cheaper than the Spank and DMR (non V8) options. The Saint had very very poor grip (over multiple shoes). The Crank Brothers were pretty good, but lacked some grip over the Spank and a lot over the Nukeproof. The DMR V8 (I had) had a few non replaceable pins (deal breaker for long term IMO). The other DMR are suuuuuuper expensive, but also very very nice and pins are cheap n easy to get last i checked at any bolt n nut shop.
