Pointer Posted October 24, 2014 Share Hi there hubber, I just bought the Garmin Edge premium bundle and came across the following problem... I have a Specialized S-works Stumpjumper Ht 2010 bike and running 3D rotor crank. The problem is that there is not enough space to install the cadance sensor on the non-drive side. The magnet will break of with the first pedal stroke. Any advice. Thanks
WrightJnr Posted October 24, 2014 Share Is the gap tight all the way along the crank arm? So is it not possible to mount it further up? If that makes sense. 2nd option is to maybe use Contact Adhesive to glue a flat magnet over the pedal Allen bolt. Or post some pics for us to see the setup. Pointer Posted October 25, 2014 Share There is no possible way to install it any where on the crank, at least the one that came with the garmin. The polar cadence magnet did work so will try get one of them again.
carbon ghost Posted October 25, 2014 Share Try the stealth magnet. http://www.carbon29er.com/stealth-hidden-magnet-for-cadence-sensor/
