Any help?

Hello guys.

 

It's been a while since I have been around here. I have a request to make and I was told by a feloow forumite that I will get better exspoure by placing it here instead of the classifieds. Anyway, after gettig my Trek 4400 a couple of months back, it was forcefully removed from my possesion as I took my first trip down to Muizenberg (alone, bad idea). I stopped on th ecorner of Prince George and Concert Blvd, were 2 previously disadvantaged guys took it upon themselves to reposses my bike. With one showing a knife I had no choice but to hand it over. I never even bothered making a case as it will never be found. I ptobably has a million colours on it by now.

 

So I'm out looking for a cheapy but descent mtb, as cash is a problem, i'm willing to trade my Sony BD player for one. ( I know it aint much but hoping). It' in excellant condition, has the ability to connect to a network (DLNA) and then stream fro mvarious pc's etc on the network. It has the box, all acc, remote, HDMI cable and ballance of warranty.

 

If anybody could assist with a bike then please let me know. I dont mind small repairs, scratches etc. I just want to start cycling again. My Trek 4400 was a 18.5" so anything that size adn above will be great.

 

Will collect if anybody can help. I'm out in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs.

Sorry for your loss- but please report it to the Police- they need to know what's going on, even if it never gets found...

Hi Dale. I have an add under the wanted section.

 

MrBaker, I understand what you trying to say, problem is, I was stupid enough not to jot down the serial no of the bike. Should have done that, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARH!!!

 

What gets me though, and I see this everyday, is countless Dick Tom and Harry riding on some of the most exspensive bikes around. Anyone can see they barely have money to feed the habit, let alone the bike.
