Cape Argus entry up for purchase?

Hey guys,

 

I know it is a bit late in the year and this is more wishful thinking but does anyone know of or have a Cape Argus entry for sale that I can purchase from them? I am just exploring the options, one thing is for sure I am not prepared to pay exorbitant pricing for the entry fee, a fair price is fine.

I think lots of people buy tickets and then can't do the race and then they have to sell.

 

But This time I don't know but I am hoping as I didn't get an entry either.

So best advice is wait and see.

4 argus entries wanted

 

I'm looking for 4 argus 2015 entries. Even willing to pay a little extra for them. PLease let me know if you know of anyone selling.

What Raf means is that even though general public entries are sold out, there are still some charity group entries available at this point. You will need to contact the various charities directly and arrange payment with them to secure your spot. Yes, you pay more, but you get an earlier start time than the open groups by going with the charity option and some of them include kit to ride the event in as well.

 

As already mentioned shortly after the new year is when people who have other stuff come up and can no longer do the ride, post up their entries for sale. If you choose this route know that you will most likely not get an entry as the odds are stacked with supply versus demand.

 

I would check with fellow staff and explore your circle of influence on FB or similar to see if anyone has an entry and is considering to give it up. Far more successful that way!

Also try ORT in Cape Town.  They had quite a few charity entries still available 2 weeks ago.  Unfortunately don't have contact details now but you can google them.
