We are doing a ride tonight anyway,,, but would be nicer if it were dry. Looking at a time trial series on Saterday afternoons... what comments?

Went out and rode this afternoon, friggin slippery but great fun! Fell once, eina thigh. Got dark quite quickly though!

Big Ben, tks for joining us for a short while last night. The moon came out and the rain was gone but the mud was still there. This is not a night ride for beginners but we will look at an easier ride for any persons easier. GO as you can see the subject is Rietvlei and that is where we will hold TT. It is by far safer, don't need marshals or road permissions and we are doing them because they are fun.

The format will be; first one. 1 lap of 8.6km ; second one 2 laps of 8.6; Third one, 1 lap of 8.6 and the final one 2 laps of 8.6; The idea is to start at 2pm Saterday afternoons. Any interested riders let me know so I can go ahead with dates.

I'm not sure how many I can get to as Saturday's are pretty busy already, however I am keen on doing some.

This Sunday, 30th from 9am till 4pm. The open day is there for you to use. See the new routes. We will have escorted laps on the hour but this is not necessary as the routes are well marked. Come spend the day, bring the family as there are routes for all levels. The NEW black decent is too tough for my ability.. but for you? EWEP, you are always up to a challenge, but I hope you are on your bike again.

What an excellent day, venue and people. Well done Wendell and team. Jessie and I really enjoyed the rides.

 

I must also thank Trek (and Merrida)  for the demo bikes that where available. I had  a great ride on the new Trek Fuel and well as a Gary Fisher 29er.
