DT Swiss fork spare parts?

I'm thinking of buying a Merida 96 Team Carbon MTB but have notice that the friction surfaces on both the fork stanchion tubes are grooved and worn out. See pic. 

 

Does anyone know how much a new set of stanchion tubes would cost and  where i could get them ? Or could one fix them ? 

 

A quick look on the net doesn't seem to come up with anything.

Rather get another fork. E.g. Rockshox Reba. Nice and light and less maintenance than the DT.

That kind of damage is expensive.  Scott SA are the DT agents and you will have to get a bike shop to send it to them for repairs.  I doubt it is worth doing.  Maybe Droo can advise?

What sort of forks would fit (100mm travel) without too much hassle ? Rockshox Reba ??

Wheelspin-two: RS Reba / SID, otherwise Fox F-series. Manitou Tower could be an option if you like them

 

That damage would only be repairable by replacing CSU (steerer and stanchion assembly) and lower leg bushings - generally a pretty expensive exercise, but cheaper than a new fork out the box. One would need to check with Scott / DT if they have replacement parts

The cost / reward ratio on DT suspension isn't great. Fox, RS or Manitou are far better options.
