I don't know. I've only been reading here a short while and I was thinking of bringing in a shipment of cheese for all the whining.

Cyclists seem to have too little dope in their mean around here.

Very funny thread...

It was supposed to be just subtle humour until b-rad stuck his oar in....

Then it rapidly devolved into coffee-spluttering, keyboard-cleaning, Larf-Out-Loud stuff  :D

I think there is some confusion about the difference on this thread between Dopamine and Endorphins. Endorphins is what we cyclists become addicted to and the more we ride, the harder we ride, the more we get. It creates a sense of euphoria, a "buzz"! Dopamine is more of an emotional feeling that comes about from a rewarding experience!  Both combine to confirm a great ride on a bike! Emotionally and physically!

Thanks Professor.... :)

Thanks Professor.... :)

I make supplements and one ingredient provides L Dopa converted to Dopamine in the brain. IT definitely doesn't come close to Endorphines. Endorphines are a rush, a high, with every cell in your body tingling from it. Dopamine, kinda like a "nice day". But isn't every day a nice day! (If youre riding your bike!)

Endorphines it is then

Any other little ingredients from your pharmacopeia you'd like to share on the Hub?   :w00t:
