DenzelM Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 HI Guys Im looking to buy a new frame, I was looking at the TCR Advance or a Cervelo S5. What are your thoughts on the Cervelo S5? Is it a TT frame or a road frame?

Spoke101 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 The downsides are that it is a harsh ride due to the stiffness of the frame so a good saddle and bibs are necessary. The other being that you will not fit anything bigger than a 23C tyre in the back and even then your wheel needs to be perfectly round and true. The frame quality is second to none though.

Spoke101 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 If you are getting the gen1 frame, by my calculations you are spot on and depending on your inseam will probably have the seatpost about 15mm further out the frame this will however be affected by the type of saddle, shoes and pedals you use.
