Windy Durbanville... Trail advice?

Morning!!

I don't get time to ride before work in the morning, and I am currently not riding too much in the afternoons either. No good.

Every afternoon when I get home, the wind just takes all my lus away. I recently joined Tygerburg MTB Club, and I've only ridden trails around here a handful of times.

My question, are there any of the trails around Durbanville that are "Windy Days" friendly? Or do I just suck it up, load the bike up, and go hit the trails?

Used to stay there. That wind makes you strong. Learn to love it. Embrace it. And what's even better are those lekker big lorries with the sand blowing off into your face. ????

Set out yesterday to ride a road loop... Rode the new Bloemendal pump tracky thing and then over the hill past Nitida and onto the road past the quarry. Wind was revolting so opted to climb up Contermanskloof and over the corridor to Meerendal and did a loop there. Makes much more sense to do trails cos it's never a long ass slog into the wind on them!

I haven't linked more than one trail to another. I am new to the area, and to MTB in general, so cautious as to where I ride. I don't know how to get onto all the corridors. Read a map I guess!

Tygerberg Mtb has maps on their website.

I'm doing most of my riding in the morning currently or I would take u out to show you :)
