droo Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 But if the damper is leaking into the lowers?Not sure about a Fox but on my RS if the damper leaks into the lowers as I understand it the consequences will be as if you over filled the lowers oil, which may result in reduced travel/hydraulic lockout and perhaps some of the excess oil coming out the stanchion seal? It's an open bath fork, the oil 'leaks' into the lowers by design. Overfilled lowers can cause hydraulic lockout, but as Wyatt says it'll take a moer of a lot of oil before that happens, and you'll probably pop the seal out.
