It has a truly horrible Suntour XCM fork which seems to have a spring rate designed for T-Rex, not light women. Her 55kg does no make it move except in a crash. Is there any after market kit I can use to soften the spring rate?

Is there any after market kit I can use to soften the spring rate? Yep, it's called a Fox or Rockshox replacement fork. Otherwise it's not worth the time. If you could hunt down a Suntour Raidon or Epicon at a good price those would be great as well.

If you could hunt down a Suntour Raidon or Epicon at a good price those would be great as well. Scrap the Suntour idea, you can't get replacement seals for them. Neeeeeext.
