Alien Racer Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I bouht a new Felt F3 road carbon frame and fork in jhb.when I assembled the frame the headset does not seat on fork. Bike shop send one from same frame, still does not seat properly.I need to get the correct headset from any bike shop for this frame.Bikeshop still waiting from Overseas to reply with solution.Look at pictures and see the problem, the bottom bearing number is: TH Industries ACB 1.5 36X45073# This one does not seat on fork, please assist anyone with correct info or bearing type.
The_black_stig Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 guess one of the bearings is 1-1/4 inch & the other is 1-1/2 inch;What about fitting the smaller one into the bottom first?

Guest DieBees Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I had a similar issue with Argon 18. I had to change the bottom bearing and get the correct tool to tighten it correctly. No local agents??
