Reason I'm asking, a friend of mine has been using 175mm cranks on his road bike "cause that's what he likes and have been using for the last 15 years"He bought a new bike and did a professional setup, and not only did he discover he actually does need the standard on road bikes of 172.5mm, but that his old bike was a size too big for him.
