If you look at 'c-guide eco' on the bionicon website, you will see it is for single, double or triple drivetrains.

when you convert it to rand from the Dolla it's cheaper to get the derailer.

Agreed, clutch derailleur should be enough. I have gone a bit OTT with clutch, NW chainring and chainguide!

Clutch derailleur works well enough to eliminate most of the chainslap.

 

Problem is I'm running gripshifts and the XO cluch derailleur is spendy, and I dont know that it works as well as the shimano version.

Specialized has this tensioner on the Cambers. Im sure you could order the tensioners separately. I have the tensioner and the XT clutch derailleur on my 1x10 and it works brilliantly.
