Im planning a fairly light playing bike but i dont want to use a tensioner, will this EBB for in a carbon Santa Cruz highball frame?

Thx

If the BB is alloy and its a BB30 or a PF30 BB you can use one like the Beer Racing one. If it's a full carbon shell with no alloy bonded in its not a good idea at all.

Hi Tunariaan,

You have a standard BB (with threaded in cups) there I think. As far as I know there is only one eccentric BB for standard BBs and that's the TrickStuff Exzentriker, link:

Looks like both the Trickstuff and Philwood have a caveat or two:

Philwood:

"*You may be required to use a half link."

All Philcentric OBB cups require the Phil Wood Philcentric installation tool. (Please Note: This tool is only available to shops)

TrickStuff:

Deviation: +/- 3 mm; plus halflink. Halflink fits 7spd, 8spd and 9spd chains. Halflink width w/o bolt 6.6mm
