Big Wheel Cycles in KZN is one of those places which kindly offers to arrange the courier. When the package arrives at your address you have to pay the courier cash or they dont deliver. They use extremely expensive couriers over which you dont have any control!!

Skylark Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Some otherwise reasonably priced couriers have been known to price gouge in those kind of end user pays scenario, the sender must get the courier quote/fee sorted(which typically means at the best rate) and cleared before the item is sent off and then you are just paying the agreed courier fee COD, then it works fine. There is zero motivation for the best rates if the price is only set once the job is done, the courier if it suits them may even be unilaterally deciding to send your parcel priority/express which costs a fortune when you'd be perfectly happy to wait an extra day or 2 and rather pay half the price.
