Actioncycles suck, Cyclopro was lazy when they got the chance. edit: For mtb setup exclusively, both Coimbra and Cyclopro are suitable Funny, my opinion of Coimbra in Walmer was the exact opposite!!Bought a fork from them with a cut down steerer, owner insisted it wasn't even though you could see the saw marks. Service is also poor in my opinion. Andrew @ Cyclopro gets my vote too, very professional. Did my fit after 6pm because of work commitments. Definitely not lazy.......
Mannypot Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I've never been a fan of the bicycle shops in PE. I just don't enjoy the employees (and owner's) attitudes towards the weekend warrior. I have however recently purchased a bike from CycloPro and can definitely say the service was great. Now to actually get to your question.... The time and attention to detail during my setup by Andrew @ Cyclopro was most commendable! He also ended up assisting me beyond the shops closing time. As a side note, I normally take my bike to Triangle Sports for all services. Great, welcoming atmosphere. The mechanic there is top notch... best of all, he is open to taking you into his workshop and showing you how your components work, what sort of wear and tear damage you need to keep an eye on, etc. They specialise in Road & TT bike setups but am pretty sure they could adapt the principals for MTB (some of the employees also ride MTB). So definitely worth a try in my opinion.
