LittleM Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Sorry Bernard - just saw your comment now. Bike was on a rack on the back of my car, parked in the Tenants parking (M level underground). I backed my car up against a wall, but they just dismantled the rack / bent it / etc. Must have had tools and taken some time - makes you wonder where the security guard was... Not.
velomonatiCT Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Firstly Brother having your bike stolen sux and a pox on the trash that took it ! secondly ill ask since I moved to the cape ive noticed a lot of bikes here get stolen off of cars its obviously a local sport to crack car racks surely cape cyclists should be encouraging one another NOT TO LEAVE THE BIKE ON THE CAR we live in a cycling crazy city no one cares if you hump your bike into the corner of the office and if you don't really need it ,leave the bike at home . you can all flame me for this but it just an outsiders perspective sometimes that helps
