ZakAttak Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hi All, While cleaning and resetting gears on my bike last night, I noticed that there is sort of a chain rub/click on my small blade when on the 36Tooth Sprocket at the rear... It is only on the lightest gear that this sounds clicking noise is there, sort of like the chain is bent and being forced onto the small blade when pedalling... Any idea as to why this is? The crank, chain and Rear Cassette is Shimano XT... Never had this problem before... I do know that I hit the crank hard on a rock this past weekend on my ride out... but no buckling of the blades when pedalling, the blade still runs true.. There is an upper and lower limit clearance on the chain, even if cross chained (only done so for checking purposes)... so cannot figure out with the problem is, any help would be appreciated....
