Novatec Flowtrail

Hi guys

For a while I've been on the lookout for wheels for a heavier rider.

I have been using a sceond bike for some time, as I didn't want to risk riding on my Sola 1 with ZTR Crest wheels as they're only rated to 86kg rider weight.

Evobikes has the 29er Flowtrails on special today with 2 x Ritchey WCS Shield tyres thrown in for R5000

Now from this link, the 650B Novatec Flowtrails are rated up to 120kg rider weight limit. Would the 29" also be the same?

Do you guys think this is more or less the best bang for buck for a heavier guy like me (107kg)?

PS - The wheels only weigh about 1600g, which I don't really care about, I just want wheels rated for my weight, don't care if they're 2kg..

so what would the cost be to rebuild your current light weight limit wheels using the existing spokes, but running a stans flow rim instead?

my mind tells me it might work out far cheaper!
