Dicky DQ Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I know from experience, it is easy to trash a drivetrain in less than 1000 km. Depends how and where you ride. I am a lot lighter on my drivetrain but on the MTB I still only get about 1,500 to 2,500 km from a drivetrain. Swapping chains early does save the the drivetrain.
