killing a chainset in less than 1000 km

  Things I swapped:

Chain, new cassette and new powerlink do daa.

 

 

So which of the three was the problem ?

Btw when you swapped out the chain/cassette last time. Did you swap out the powerlink do daa as well?

No idea. Keeping the old cassette ICoE, chain was used to make a chain whip and the link is a spare for the broken chain problems that I might have

I know from experience, it is easy to trash a drivetrain in less than 1000 km. Depends how and where you ride.

 

I am a lot lighter on my drivetrain but on the MTB I still only get about 1,500 to 2,500 km from a drivetrain. Swapping chains early does save the the drivetrain.

Strange how some people think the chain must only be cleaned and re lubed at a service..

clean and re lube after EVERY Ride! !!!
