That process is ridiculous, item is clearly faulty or very poorly designed.

Why don't you guys send them back for replacement or refund?

In terms of the CPA DOA stuff means the retailer must cover return shipping both ways.

Hi Guys,

Just to give you feedback.

Joeboy69, thank you for the reply on this... As you probably know we sold a few hundred of them at the expo alone. I myself is using this and works 100%. (i use a sony phone).

We had about 4 customers out of all those that we sold and they all had iPhones. We took this up with the engineer and we learned that on the iPhones it would work best on IOS8. Some customers has this problem and some doesn't.

What happens to 2 of them (out of the 4) was that they needed to "unlock" their phones before it will charge. So im not sure if you phone was unlocked when i didn't want to charge.

Please let me know the outcome... if you are unhappy we will gladly refund you but i hope this solves the issue.

Been running iOS 8.x since it was available. Will try the unlock option. Your sales assistant offered the refund but too much schlep to do that. Thanks for the offer in any case.

Ordered mine on Thursday. Not so sure anymore

Received mine and it does not work like it should. I have a Samsung S4 and it only works if the cycle light battery is fully charged. After you fully charged your phone, the cycle light battery will only work again if you recharge it.

And if you interrupt the charging process at lets say 40%, the same happens, it will not charge again.

Pretty much a useless product with lots of errors. Rather take it of the market and properly test it before putting it out there.  Just wasted my time and money

Eeish not good, sounds like a product from a fly by night company, can't be SABS approved either :(

Not sure if its related but it probably is.

Iphones/ipads with lightning connectors had the ability to charge with generic cables and non-approved power sources disabled in iOs a few minor steppings back.

The reason it works when it is started with a normal base is because that has the chip to "authenticate" it.

That was just the first example I found but I have noticed it with certain chargers not working that are fine with things like my non lightning ipad3.
