Would also love to, but the knee does not like the extra strain/effort.... Need a granny gear unfortunately.. Might get away with 2x10, but then might as well stay with 3x10...

Well 2x10 would save some weight and I hardly use the big flywheel so it must go.

Hi guys, is there more maintenance on a grip shift?

 

Just bought a XO1 gripshift,im asking cause there is little to no maintenance really on a trigger shifter.

No maintenance required. Just ride

There is. After a year or two of constant use, you may need to change the rubber grips, as they do wear down.

This is however not a major job, done in a few minutes. I also regreased the internals of the shifters at the same time.
