1 x 10 conversion on a Cannondale Flash

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who needs some help with a conversion to 1 x 10:

 

Currently running Cannondale Hollowgram Cranks BB30 (120bcd)

 

Current setup - 2X10 Sram XO groupset.

 

Will this crank work with a 32 T blade or should he replace the crank

 

If the crank needs to be replaced, will a 1X11 Sram crank work?

 

If not which other crankset.

 

Chain to be replaced? Or any other parts needed?

You can get a 32t with a spider. You then remove the existing 2x10 spider on the crank and replace it with the 32t spider.

You will also need a clutch derailleur and will probably need to shorten the chain.

As PeterF has said you will need to remove the Crank Spider in order to fit a direct spider mount 32T Chain Ring as the smallest you can go with a 120bcd is a 36T.

 

A SRAM BB30 Crankset will work as well.
