WKNDWRRR Posted March 30, 2015 Share I have a set of entry level Avid DB1s on my Trek FS 29er, which I don't feel very confident about. My old 26er has a set of Magura Julies but they are probably over 10 years old. Is it worth putting the Julies on my newer bike? I've only started doing proper trail riding with my 29er. I used to ride the 26er a lot more tamely so cant really compare the 2 in terms of braking performance.
droo Posted March 30, 2015 Share Nothing wrong with them, make sure the pads are properly bedded in before you make any comparisons to your old brakes.
