DominionZA Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I got an Edge 500 today, set it up, setup my Garmin Connect account, and linked to it from Strava. Sorted - so I though. Head off on my ride, got back just now, sync'd with my PC to Garmin. Activity shows up on the web perfectly. But not sync'ing to Strava. It has been an hour now and Strava is still not reflecting my ride. Anything else I can do to initiate a sync?
Dubber Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 go to your 'account setting' in strava. under social connections cehck if garmin is showing as 'connected' . if connected, try disconnect and connect again?

Butterbean Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Check to see if your garmin connect rides are set to public - or seen by everyone. Strata won't sync them automatically if they're set to private. Which is the default setting it seems.

So timing was good:)

So timing was good:)Just got back from big Red barn. Had 2 rides out there. Plugged Edge 500 into PC, and boom. Sync to Garmin and to Strava in seconds. You're the boss dude!
