Cleaning Slime from tires

hi all..

 

How or with what can I clean slime from tires? I got a pair which was use with slime. Guy replaced his tires and passed them on to me.

Why take the layer out? It is part of the seal. Clean only the tyre rim with a dry cloth to seat properly.

I assume it has dried up and is now a layer of gunk inside the tyre.

 

Leave as is and just wipe and remove the loose bits. 

 

I normally clean the bead of the tyre a bit to remove loose bits. Generally leave as is.

It has not yet dried up.  But im not going to use the tires immediately.  

 

So I should just clean outside of tire and leave it as is?

 

I just thought it might be easier to clean now then when it has dried.  Id rather put new ones in as soon as I going to use the tires???

So what is used to clean the rim of tyre, I hear white vinager works..?

That's a good question. Personally I would clean it up and redo once the tyres go onto rim.
