Hi Guys,

we are considering registering a cycling club for our Group of Companies. I am however struggling to find any solid information as to the application process or where to apply.

I would appreciate any direction or information from those in the know.

Kind Regards

Danny Vermeulen.

You may want to contact Central Gauteng Cycling - http://www.cgcycling.co.za/

They should be able to guide you through the process and even supply you with a template for your constitution.

In KZN we fall under KZN Cycling and we (East Coat Cycling Club) have to pay them an annual membership fee.

Hope this helps.

If you're in Gauteng, the regions have split into 5 areas. East Rand Cycling is one that is actively moving forward since the change became effective in March 2015.

North, East, South, West and Central are the new regions within Gatueng Cycling. If you're looking to setup in East Rand then let me know, I'll send you the nrw details. For the rest... have no idea if CGC can still do anything about it.

Have fun and faith. Running a cycling club is not unlike politics. You will have lots of different 'experiences' and often wonder why you started the damn thing. Then on the next lekker ride, you will forget all the whingers, moaners and back stabbers and realise that most of us are just the same as you, only, you are helping us have a nice time so that makes you special.

Respect!
