Problem with polarized lenses?

My Polarized Oakley's peeled.... Apparently you aren't supposed to flip them up and let them sit on top of your head.... Not impressed. A lens replacement is the same price as what I paid for the glasses new. I won't be buying another pair.

Next pair will probably be Arnettes. Half the price of Oakley and just as good looking IMO. Either that or a pair of sunnies from the local pharmacy @ R300....

The phenomena is called lens flair, but I've never seen it with sunglasses...

Personally, I switched from polarized to photochromic sunglasses. Polarized ones seem to flatten out the surface of the trail too much, I loose depth perception...

My day to day sunglasses are polarized though.

I bought some Oakley photochromatic lenses and they great for trails but don't work when you driving in a car.
