Grebel Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 My Polarized Oakley's peeled.... Apparently you aren't supposed to flip them up and let them sit on top of your head.... Not impressed. A lens replacement is the same price as what I paid for the glasses new. I won't be buying another pair. Next pair will probably be Arnettes. Half the price of Oakley and just as good looking IMO. Either that or a pair of sunnies from the local pharmacy @ R300....
gummibear Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 The phenomena is called lens flair, but I've never seen it with sunglasses... Personally, I switched from polarized to photochromic sunglasses. Polarized ones seem to flatten out the surface of the trail too much, I loose depth perception...My day to day sunglasses are polarized though.I bought some Oakley photochromatic lenses and they great for trails but don't work when you driving in a car.
