Cleats and flowy style - how to?

hey guys,
How in the world do you whip or tabletop an MTB trail bike with cleats without unclipping.

My jumpbike with flats - no problems and sidewinders are easy. But on my trance, getting my bike reasonably sideways or flat almost always results in both my feet clipping out, and then it is darn difficult to catch the tiny pedals without destroying shins or testes...even whilst wearing a helmet.

Going flat or cross up is not the problem - I want to know how to stay clipped.  Is it just tightening up the cleats to crazy proportions, where and when you would then probably fall over whenever you need to clip out, because you'd be glued to the bike?

I can handle my bike just fine, and will hit most jumps and drops on trails, par the really big stuff without problem.

Maybe some of the DH guys with skills or enduro riders could give me some insight.

Point is not to go buy new pedals, or ride flats, but to figure out how to make it work with what I have.  I have since added a dropper post, but still getting used to the idea.

so; how to do this:
