so this probably isint the place for a thread like this, but admin usually sorts that out for me anyway...

so the other day i bought a 2011 specialized enduro s-works frame size XL, now i know that means ive turned to the dark side or whatever but it was a good deal for something with a warranty and that finally fits me

anyway, this frame has one problem, it has a 170mm headtube, which was long for back in 2011, and its even longer now. The fork i had on my GT force's steerer is too short, and i cant find anything that will fit this frames ridiculously long steerer.

so, my question is, fellow hubbers, do any of you have any 160mm 26in forks with really long steerers lying around that you've been to lazy to sell

Can you not source another longer steerer tube, remove old steerer and press fit into crown?

Thank goodness I don't fit an XL frame and will never risk buying Mada's frame and fork once he's done this...

at the moment my only option is replacing the whole uppers on my talas, its a good fork, but like meyhem said, expensive, so expensive that looking for another fork is just as viable.
