Tubeless Tyre lossing pressure

All the above bear out my experience with Conti's. Al so went down overnight and pumped them up hard and hand spun them straight, then on both sides. Next day they were better but still noticed the sidewalls "sweating", so just repeated the process. Now they fine. NO further problems. I can thank the guys from BMC for the advice. Real cool dudes to deal with.

Oh just btw, be VERY careful if you use tire leavers not to damage the rim tape. Just a slight "bruise" over a nipple hole and I have a permanent "slowww" leak through the valve, but caused by as mentioned. So take care when using levers.

What a pity you have to go through all this trouble to get NEW tires to work properly.

Just fit Geax / Vittoria tires, and forget about them. No hassles, and wayyyy stronger sidewalls, all without too much of a weight penalty. I'll in any case rather ride with a heavier / sturdier tyre than with a flimsy weight weeny "race tyre" and get stuck on the trail.

Problem is even the heavier protection continental tyres leak through the sidewalls and they are not cheap.
