Hi

I've got a 2014 Rs Reba 100mm and wanted to know if it's possible to convert it to a 120mm by removing spacers?

How would this affect my bike, as my bike has a headset angle of 71 degrees?

Any info would be appreciated :)

Sorry it's not that easy any more since RS did away with the dual air forks (end of 2012).

It can still be done, but you will need to buy a new 120mm air shaft. ±R 1000.00

If your stanchions have the 120mm markings you should be good to go by replacing the air spring with a 120mm one (222.2mm overall length). If they only have the 80/100mm markings, the stanchions are likely going to be too short. I'm not sure if the Rebas have these, but you'll also need to remove any bottomless tokens if they do.

I've been quoted R750 for the air spring, and if you get the bike store to fit it for you, you'll need to pay for a fork service. It's a really easy job though, so it might be worth doing yourself.

Head angle should be around 70deg with the added 2cm on the fork. The BB height and seat angle will also change slightly so you'll need to compensate appropriately.
