This looks amazing - Wish I had seen the post earlier and been able to offer help!!! Thanks so much for sharing Dude.

I'm in Farrarmere and have been wishing for a place closer to home to do pump and jump sessions as geting out to Wolvespruit, PWC and Idlewild midweek is a hack. I would also really love to help with any build work when needed in exchange for some sessions?

Just in case you're keen to add some north shore style wooden type structures, I have a few thick treated timber poles that I can donate and help with the build.

They can be used for building some moveable ski jumps, bridges or to erect and strong platform rollin structure to gain speed for the track?

Let me know - I can drop aff anytime.

Right! The track is done. All rolled, floated, compacted, finalised etc - we just need some rain now to glue it all together.

Start ramp into wooden flat/table - round easy berm into log double with 4 or 5 options (varying ramp angle)...

The into rhtyhm section with single truck wheel jump then double barrel jump then triple collar bone breaker...I mean log triple.

The "back section" is void of obstacles at the moment - it's a little uphill so jumping is out of the question - maybe a mini rock garden or log rollers or summin. The tree bowl on the left will give you some speed on the way down so a little log double/table is planned.

We've designed the course to be rideen both ways with 3 or 4 short cuts so you can change direction often making for good "follow my leader" fun.

The plan is to wait for rain then ride the course a few times to gauge speed and then add in the final obstacles.

Awesome - the more the merrier and the more obstacles the merrier (I think).

I'm quite keen to leave the "up run" quite clear of obstacles so the xco race snakes can get some quality pedalling in.

Loads of ideas that will bed themselves down when we ride it a few times.

Hopefully this weekend - Thu is rain day according to accuweather....

And now to find a 27.2mm dropper :w00t:

Basically limited to KS Lev with 100mm drop.

Did you get some of the storm last night?

We did! Nice long soaking rain. Long enough to soak and slow enough not to wash anything away. Inspection and test rolling later but I reckon we're a go for riding after a day or two of sun.

Ok so the track is complete and has around 50 laps on it...

One or two areas got upgraded, some areas are a bit of a "crumble to dust" risk (we need more rain!), grass is being severely dealt with but all in all I'm pretty damn chuffed. It's flippin awesome having a 500 pump track 40m from your back door.

If anyone wants to come and ride a lap or 20 let me know - I don't want to expose it to mass destruction hub ride just yet but am more than happy to have a few hubbers over for a test and feedback session.

Every obstacle is rideable (or avoidable by riding round it). All gaps have been filled and levelled so if you case the jump you don't get OTB'd. That said - with a little more speed you can jump anything and a few places have multiples ramps so you can decide to roll, double or triple the obstacle. The idea was to make it rideable by any and all skill levels but still keep some fun for the more technically competent.

This is not enduro level stuff and the biggest jump is about 2m long and not very high - that'll come with time

There are a few areas that we can add a mini rock garden, table, wooden stump ride etc so some ideas/feedback would be nice.

PM me - I work from home so pretty much any time is cool with a bit of notice.

Warning: Drinking my coffee is compulsory.

Come one come all  Ok not all yet but soon....

Love your Work! Proof that not all of us in the East Rondt are dodgy, scaly inbreeders.... I'm sure we have been named that before...eksemaarnet
