Imploder Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Hi All As some of you who work in Sandton know, October is supposed to be a car free month in Africa's Richest square mile. With than in mind I'd like to make October my commuting month. Are there any commuters out there who travel from: Bruma/Kensington/Bedfordview to Sandton(Nedbank)?What route would you take? or Do you take for this commute? Suggestions and advice, will be most welcome. Imploder
arabsandals Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Depending on where you're coming from, get onto Civin then work your way to Atholl Oaklands, cross over the M1 and then back roads to Katherine.

Otherwise you can cross the highway a little further north - but then is suburban streets to Sandton.

igg Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I live in Fourways, and work in Sandton. Just thinking about cycling all the way down william nicol in peak hour gives me the chills. My company's response to eco-month: don't come into the office. Easy though, because we're all consultants and can work remote from clients/home/coffee shop. The traffic is going to suck hard and I feel for anyone who has to suffer through a month of this.
