Joined my partner in batch E in the 45km, got a puncture 500m in , fixed it in a flash but still ended up at the back of the pack so with not much space to pass (because of all the awesome singletrack ) we got stuck behind a lot of slow riders. Looking forward to starting in a better batch next year and slicing at least 30-40 min off my time! Well done to all the organizers and sponsors...

Legs are still SORE this morning. Great ride, tried my best but couldn't catch you! My only complaint - registration on the morning was very slow. Option to collect prior to race day please.
