Port Elizabeth mtb for retirees

I am new to PE and have already connected with some mtb and road groups. Unfortunately all of them are young lads in their prime so they have to ride in the dark of night or weekends only. I am retired and would prefer to ride late on weekday mornings, preferably on non-technical routes so my legs can work hard and my collar bones can stay intact. I typically ride in Longmore Forest and on the Elands river road, but closer to town would be even better.

PM me if you want to join.

Go have a look at the Fat Tracks website.  Really relaxed and easy ride most Wednesday afternoons at 15h30 from Little Walmer Golf course.

Ask Johan to add you to the Whatsapp group, where many impromptu rides are communicated.  Nice group of people.

Spent a week riding in and around PE (as a roadie) and must say it was a very pleasant experience. 10-15min and you are out in the countryside. Met lots of friendly folk and highly recommend PE as a go to riding venue. Saw piles of MTBérs riding single or in groups.

Thanx guys! will follow up

Meanwhile I joined a roadie club Masters and Ladies who have short well-organised road races every Saturday. I have yet to see any sports club that well organised!!!!
