IceCreamMan Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Hi I have a set of these on my bike, around 2000km's on them and one of them the tread completely delaminated and the tube popped as well.... never had that happen before. Searching the net I cant find too many of these incidents occurring. anyway, anyone have any ideas why this happened, has it happened to anyone else? Luckily it was in my garage when I noticed the delamination, was going to change out the tyre this evening anyway, this morning I hear a loud noise and tube popped now ..thought it was a gun shot at first.

I bought mine from Chris willemse about 9 months ago. Where did you get yours? possibly a bad batch somewhere.

It could possibly be old stock that the shop had? When did you buy the tyres and at what shop?

If this had happened at an event or at speed the consequences could of been sad, very sad. So guess I am lucky.
