Rockshox RCT3 SID - lost screw

I lost the little screw that goes on the top of a Rockshox RCT3 SID fork motion control knob.  It looks like a 2mm diameter.  I have been to a few cycleshops, but can't get a replacement.  Have to buy the whole kit at around R400.

Does anyone have a spare or alternative? Cheers

go to builders warehouse and check in the screw and bolt section, its probably a m3 or m4 thread, they wont likely have the hex version and they might not have the correct length either but you if can get the right thread you can cut the bolt down to size easy enough. when you do reassemble use a little blue locktight to make sure is doesnt escape again.

Why not go to jkm or a nut and bolt specialist with the fork and see if they can help.

You can get that easy at bolt/nut shops. And yes even in HEX nut. Just make sure its cleaned and filed neat if you shorten a bolt.

M3 x 6 countersunk hex screw. In a pinch you can use any M3 x 6 countersunk. I've got a few lying around but it'll cost about 300x the price of the part to get it to you...
