Hope the Oom and his two friends read this...

 

I was commuting to work on Saturday. Had a sidewall puncture a week ago, so I used my spare tube on that... Then I punctured somewhere in Scummyside. Bombed it, hoping the sealant will do its job, and slogged on. Got to Botha when I realised it's flat again. Tried patching, but the sealant and patch are not exactly compatible.

 

So the next 2km was ride, pump, ride, pump, until two gentlemen and a lady stopped by and offered a spare tube. Life-saving that...

 

Anyway, big thank you. Was an hour late for work, but at least I got there in one piece.

I'm glad this all worked out well... Funny though, whenever there's a thank you to some guy/s/gal/s, there's never a name attached...

 

Take some time and get the person's name unless they would love to stay anonymous... which I doubt... 

 

But say howzit and introduce yourself and hopefully they return the same and hopefully we can pass the message on should we know them... just my 2c, I feel that the world has become a little less personal/friednly lately, even though people do help out here and there...
