Hi Guys

Would the stanchion length be the same for a 120mm 27.5 fork as a 29er 120mm (both forks are rock shox reba RL)

I realize the lowers are different, but will the stanchions be the same length ?

Unless I also don't know, I have always understood that  the measurement for travel on a fork is the stanchion length.

Where this differs is on the shock in leverage ratios which means that the shock is shorter in mm's compared to the stated travel for the frame.

In short, yes. (I hope)

Ed: Axel to crown length is wheel size dependant, but not fork travel as JXV correctly points out.
